JJ was born and raised in the upstate of South Carolina. He graduated from North Greenville University with a degree in Performance Theatre, and he has worked as a magician, actor, and director across the state. In addition, he has also worked as a tutor, a brewer, and a courier.

Most recently, JJ joined TravelTax in January of 2022 as a Tax Preparer Assistant. He then shifted to focus on Tax Homes, and he is thrilled to join the Tax Home Specialist team. At home, JJ loves to spend time with his wife and two beautiful toddlers. He’s very passionate about board gaming, with a large collection of games and a few working prototypes of his own.
